Indian Money Rock is a unique geological formation located in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California, USA. The rock formation is known for its distinct yellow color and its shape which resembles that of ancient Indian coins. The formation is composed of jasper and is approximately 1.5 billion years old.
Aside from its geological significance, Indian Money Rock holds cultural and historical significance for the local Native American communities. The rock served as a sacred site where indigenous people performed traditional ceremonies and rituals.
Today, Indian Money Rock is a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors and hikers to its location in the San Bernardino National Forest.
